2 Days on our New England Autumn Splendor features: VERMONT

Join the Travel Masters as we visit Vermont for 2 days on our New England Autumn Spectacular! Join us for a few of “My Favorite Things! Like the Trapp Family Lodge with a delicious Buffet Luncheon! Plus Speciality Stores with Shopping at: Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, Dakin Family Vermont Farm, Cold Hollow Cider Mill and The Vermont Teddy Bear Factory Tour. Below is details of our 2 Days in Vermont.

DAY 9: It’s time for a Few (more) of my Favorite Things! We are headed to Vermont! We have a full day planned, too! First, we’ll stop at Vermont State House and take a photo of the beautiful gold-domed capitol building before making our way to Stowe, Vermont for our special lunch stop! “The Hills are alive with the Sound of Music” is what everyone thinks of when they visit the Trapp Family Lodge. Enjoy a sumptuous buffet luncheon with the panorama of Vermont’s Green Mountains as you dine. Followed by time to see the historic pictures throughout the lodge and of course visit the gift shop. After we leave, we’ll have a few more stops as we will visit a local cider mill – Cold Hollow Cider Mill – for a tour and samples, a bakery, live beehive, fudge, world famous cider doughnuts & New England crafts. We will probably make one more quick stop for a delicious treat! Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream is next up on our list. Who can resist ice cream! This is their ice cream factory but we’re stopping for a treat, not the tour . . . Next, we’re headed to our Inn where we’ll experience the charm and hospitality of the Sugarbush Inn. Dinner included at this quaint Vermont country inn. OVERNIGHT: Warren, VT (B, L, D)

DAY 10: Good morning, Vermont! Today we’ll start the day at another Vermont specialty Store with a stop at Dakin Family Farm. This Vermont specialty store features many foods such as cob-smoked ham, cheddar cheese, Pure Vermont maple syrup, smoked meats, mustards, chutney, Jellies, Jams and much more. (Don’t forget to sample their homemade fudge.)  Next, is a quick stop for lunch (on your own) before we have our last stop in Vermont – Vermont Teddy Bear Factory.
Vermont Teddy Bears are among the world’s most famous toys. Here you will see how they are made and cared for. You may even buy one (or two) of your own. Next, we’re headed to the Caskills in upper state New York! We will stop for dinner at Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant before arriving our hotel for the night.  OVERNIGHT: Windham, NY (B, D)
